Posted: 14 Aug 2010 Just back from holiday in Cornwall - small greenish lizard seen basking on stone in dunes at Penhale. I'm assuming it must be a Common based on location and habitat? It was small, dark green with a suggestion of three tramlines on its upper surface - only seen briefly. Thanks.

Posted: 16 Aug 2010 I've attached a shocker of an image if it helps, (it's in the bottom left hand corner). I was all set to get a good shot on the stone, and it darted off, resulting in this poor shot. I haven't tried to crop or enhance so it didn't affect the colour. The image shows a rather green lizard, but I'm not familiar with Common Lizard either. Anything gleaned from this? |
